This trio of connected seats have been preserved in the same state as they were the day they were removed from the revered baseball cathedral that is Yankee Stadium. An original coat of blue paint has worn in spots to reveal a proper layer of early green paint that preceded it. Salvaged from the wrecking ball during the 1973 renovation, they were originally consigned to our December, 2005 SCP/Sotheby's auction by the individual who purchased them as part of an advertised liquidation sale held in the Stadium’s parking lot that year (sold for $6,000). The three “curved back” wooden seats, with sturdy metal framework, feature the numbers “1” “2” and “3” respectively, stenciled in black along the backrest and are fully functional. Length: 58 in. Width 13 in. Height: 30 in.

Please Note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, the cost of shipping may be substantial.
