Invitation from the Pittsburgh Base Ball Club to the June 30th, 1909 opening game of the season between the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates celebrating the opening of newly built Forbes Field. Beautiful embossed logo in the shape of a coat of arms at the top. Also included is a separate admission card to the contest. Fronts of both are in nice condition. Backs of both the invitation and admission card have glue and tape residue from album removal. Invitation measures 6 1/2" by 8 1/2". Admission card measures 3 1/2" by 5 1/2". Great piece of Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball History!
