Invitation from the Detroit Base Ball Company to the April 18th, 1912 opening game of the season between the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers and dedication ceremony for newly constructed Navin Field. Beautiful embossed Detroit Tiger logo at the top. Also included is a separate admission card to the contest. Fronts of both are in great condition. Back of both the invitation and admission card have glue and tape residue on the back from album removal. A 1" by 2" piece is also missing from the back. In addition "Opening Navin Field" is handwritten on the top back of the invitation. Invitation measures about 6" by 8". Admission card measures 2 1/2" by 3 3/4". Great piece of Detroit Tiger Baseball History!
