New York Yankees icon Derek Jeter had many milestone moments, but it was with great anticpation that the star shortstop made his first World Series appearance for the fabled franchise. With all the greats that have worn the pinstripes, it is certainly a rite of passge to suit up in the Fall Classic.
Presented here is the ticket from Jeter's World Series debut, sharply encapsulated by PSA/DNA. Although it was not a Game 1 victory for the Yanks, who were bested by the Atlanta Braves, it marked the first of many Fall Classic moments for the Hall of Famer who mostly grew up in Kalamazoo, MI.
