Presented here is a stunning PSA/DNA Type 1 photograph showcasing the iconic Mickey Mantle dating to the mid-1950s when he was in his prime. This captivating image freezes a moment in time, capturing Mantle’s follow-through swing from the right side.
Mantle's switch-hitting abilities were legendary, and he left an indelible mark by hitting home runs from both sides of the plate in ten different games throughout his career. Intriguingly, this particular photo of Mantle in his iconic Yankees home pinstripes shows him swinging one of Yogi Berra's Hillerich & Bradsby bats (name engraved on barrel). The connection between these two longtime Yankee teammates and Hall of Famers adds an extra layer of significance.
The team-issued original photo has a blank reverse aside from "Mantle" at the top penned in blue. Presenting in immaculate condition, it is an absolute must-have for any Mantle or Yankees collector.
