Offered here is a lock of Marilyn Monroe's hair and a piece from one of her personally used towels dating to 1961, one year before her tragic death at just 36 years old. The small lock of hair contains several 1" strands cut from the bombshell's famous blonde locks. Adjacent is a white fabric swatch from a Monroe used towel displayed within a decorative 10" x 8" matte bearing a gorgeous photo of Monroe, a replication of her lispstick kiss, and a block of text reading, in part: "The lock has been certified before removal from the original bag of hair cut from her personal stylist Sydney Guilaroff on April 18th, 1961. Obtained with signed certification from Mr. Guilaroff on 9th February, 1979." Includes COA from Regents Gallery.
