Graded PR 1 by PSA, one of less than a dozen copies validated by that company. This humble stub represents the summary of a legend: it's a memento of the final active moment of Mickey Mantle's pinstriped glory. The approximately 1-1/2" x 2-5/8" stub -- recalling the New York Yankees' 4-3 victory over the Boston Red Sox in a September 28, 1968 contest at Fenway -- allowed the holder to witness the Hall of Famer's final at-bat, in his last game. The piece projects EX frontal appearance, its modest grading assessment brought about by spots of scrapbook adhesive (with small areas of associated surface paper loss) on the back. A very seldom-seen milestone piece!
