While not as hard to find as other Mantle inscribed singles, the simplicity of "The Mick" is powerful and very appealing to sophisticated autograph collectors. This OAL (Brown) example stands out not only because the ball has remained fairly snow white with very little spot toning, but moreso due to Mickey's striking 9/10 blue ballpoint effort on the sweet spot, making it a solid candidate for an auto-grade upgrade.
