The 1953 New York Yankees were a force to be reckoned with as they ended the regular season play with a 99-52 record. The Yankees went on the beat the Brooklyn Dodgers in the World Series, 4-2, securing the Yankees place in the history books once again. This lot features a 1953 Mickey Mantle signed Gerry Dvorak lithograph and a Mickey Mantle autographed Louisville Slugger bat to unite two pieces of memorabilia that are perfect to display together. The 17”x12.5” lithograph features the same colorful depiction of Mickey Mantle as his famous 1953 Topps baseball card and is autographed in blue ink. The Louisville Slugger appears in mint condition and is signed in blue ink with a 10/10 signature. This pairing of a bat and lithograph can remind any fan of the great Mickey Mantle during the 1953 campaign. Accompanied by two full LOA's from JSA (BB31080 & BB32162).
