Offered here is a one-of-a-kind item that granted Michael Jordan all access to the 2003 NBA All Star weekend festivities from February 7-9, 2003. The event was held at Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA (home of the Hawks), and each player, coach and festivities participant was issued only one of these passes for the weekend. Our consignor received it from anonymous source who had exclusive access to the players.

The February 9, 2003 All-Star Game was very significant in NBA history as it would be MJ's final All-Star appearance. After three seasons with the Washington Wizards, His Airness officially retired for good at the end of the 2002-03 campaign. A week before his 40th birthday, Jordan still stuffed the stat sheet with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. He also received an emotional tribute at halftime, and was brought to tears before thanking his teammates, competitors, family, and fans. “I leave the game in good hands,” Jordan said during that halftime ceremony. “So many great stars still in the game, so many great stars rising and playing the game.”
