On May 11, 1963, Sandy Koufax threw his second career no-hitter. Matched up against his nemesis Juan Marichal, the dominant southpaw struck out four and walked two. The Dodgers cruised to an 8-0 victory over the San Francisco Giants on their way to a World Series title that season.
Offered here is a 1970's 8x10 photo off the official negative (courtesy of UPI) of Sandy standing in front of the scoreboard after pitching his illustrious 1963 no-no. It was most likely printed in 1973 in honor of the 10th anniversary of this historic feat.
