Featured here is former USC quarterback Matt Barkley's very first Trojans game-worn USC No. 7 jersey from the first start of his freshman campaign on Sept. 5, 2009, against San Jose State. In what turned out to be a completely lopsided 56-3 Trojan victory, Barkley threw for 233 yards and one touchdown pass to compliment USC’s rushing attack which accounted for six additional TDs. The stretchy mesh nylon/spandex maroon Nike jersey has the “SC” emblem sewn onto the bottom of the V-neck collar. It’s important to note that this jersey does not featured Nike swoosh on the left shoulder area. This is key to photo-matching this jersey to this game. His uniform number “7” is on the front, back and shoulders in yellow. The sleeves are cuffed with elastic hem. The right front tail shows a size "44" tag and "S" flag tag with the open rear flap design for comfort. Overall, the jersey shows light to moderate wear. Barkley has signed the jersey across the number “7” on the front in black fine-point marker and added “#7” next to his signature.
