This nine page Ancillary Rights Agreement was executed on April 3, 1967 between Muhammad Ali, Floyd Patterson, and Champion Sports Inc. and Main Bouts Inc. The contract concerns the fight scheduled for April 25, 197 at Las Vegas between Ali and Patterson. The fight never actually took place, as Ali was drafted for military service, provoking a national firestorm of controversy. The document, signed by both fighters, spells out rights and financial guarantees to all parties for broadcasting revenue, advertising, promotion, film rights, etc. Of significant interest is the fact that Ali was to receive 50% of the profits while Patterson was due 15%.
