Presented here is a game ball from Sept. 9, 2001, when the Green Bay Packers blanked the Washington Redskins at Lambeau Field, 37-0. Actually, it was the that Hall of Fame QB Brett Favre threw to Antonio Freeman for a 12-yard TD pass to open the scoring in the first quarter. It also happened to be Favre's first TD pass post-9/11, and the original seller donated funds to the N.Y. City 9-11 Relief Fund, according to a display placard that comes with the ball. The official NFL (Paul Tagliabue) Wilson football is notated in black marker "12 yd Touchdown vs. Washington Redskins 9/24/01" on a lower panel, with the autographs of both Favre and Freeman. Two hologram stickers with cert. #'s are affixed adjacent to the autographs. Favre finished the afternoon with 3 TD passes and 236 yards. Just another day at the office for one of the greatest to ever sling it.
Comes with Authentic 4 Brett Favre hologram sticker (33592) and COA from Ball Four Authenticated. Also comes with a VHS videotape of the entire game. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (auto).
