During the 1994-95 NBA season, Seattle SuperSonics power forward Shawn Kemp played all 82 regular season games and averaged a double-double (18.7 points and 10.9 boards). This lot features Kemp’s game worn and signed Reebok “Kamikaze 1” shoes, which happen to be the dynamic dunk artist's first signature model sneakers.

The tri-color (white, back and forest green) leather and suede combo high-tops (size 15) feature Kemp’s last name embroidered in white on the outside ankle area of both shoes with the Reebok logo appearing in like fashion just below it. He signed the outside ankle area of the left shoe in a now faded black marker and added “#40.” The shoes are properly tagged and labeled ("F.L.U. SAMPLE") on the interior, and they display evident wear, especially on the back side from heel drag and court burns, and have what appear to be their original black laces. A very popular shoe in the "Sneakerhead" world, this game-used pair has impeccable provenance being sourced from Kemp's longtime head coach.

Includes LOA from former NBA player Coby Karl, son of longtime SuperSonics coach George Karl. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph).
