In 2010, Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton was named the American League MVP after batting a league-best .359 with 32 home runs and 100 runs batted in. This lot features a game-used bat Hamilton swung during this impressive campaign. The 35-inch, 32.5-ounce natural maple Louisville Slugger I13 model bat, with its upped end, is uncracked and exhibits game ready to light game use. Blue bat rack streaks are visible on the right barrel. The date of the bat’s manufacture (8/24/2010), length (35) and weight (32 oz) are all stamped into the knob. The weight (32.2) is written on the knob in pencil and Hamilton’s uniform number (32) is written in black marker. Hamilton signed the front barrel of the bat in bold black marker.

MLB Authentication #FJ275575. LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA with GU 6 grade. PSA/DNA COA for autograph.
