Hall of Famer Tim “Rock” Raines had his No. 30 retired by the Montreal Expos. The four-time National League stolen base champion won two World Series Championships as a player and was the 1986 N.L. batting champion. This lot features the classic 1980 Montreal Expos home jersey Raines "rocked" during his debut season.

On the inside of the front right tail is a “Rawlings [size] 40” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached to that is a flag tag that reads “SET 2 1980.” On the left chest reads “expos” in blue tackle twill, with the team’s “M” logo above in red, white and blue tackle twill. His uniform number “30” appears on the right chest as well as on the back in blue tackle twill. Across the back reads his last name – “RAINES” – which appears in blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the white jersey. The jersey is properly tagged and exhibits solid overall usage. Early Expos gamers like this are hard to come by in the hobby, elevated by the fact that the man that wore it is one of the franchise's most popular all-time players.

Includes LOA from fellow base-stealing extraordinaire, Vince Coleman.
