On September 9th, 1965, Sandy Koufax stepped onto the mound at Dodger Stadium, and for the fourth time in his Hall of Fame career, the the legendary southpaw threw a No-Hitter. But this one was special. 27 up, 27 down. A Perfect Game. A the time just the sixth in the modern era (post-1900). Mixing his over-the-top zipping rise-ball with that devastating 12-to-6 curve, Koufax struck out 14 Chicago Cubs--still a record for any perfecto.

Surviving tickets from this historic game are few and far between. PSA lists 23 stubs in its population report. As for full tickets, there are two, TWO! And the other is simply slabbed "Authentic." Yep, you're looking at the only PSA-graded Koufax Perfect Game full ticket in existence. The VG-EX 4 rating seems a bit harsh based on it's tremendous eye appeal. The front and back are very clean, the colors are bright, the printing is clear and bold, and the edges are smooth. The main deduction appears to be its slightly rounded corners.

Considering a PSA VG 3 stub went for $4,500 six years ago at auction, the price of this gem could be steep. For ticket collectors, the prestige should be well-worth the investment.
