There was no shortage of star power on display in the 1956 Midsummer Classic at Griffith Stadium in Washington, D.C. The game featured home runs by four all-time legends -- Willie Mays, Stan Musial, Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams. Musial's two-run shot in the seventh put the NL ahead, 7-3, which turned out to be the final score.
Presented here is a high-grade ONL (Giles) baseball featuring 31 members of the 1956 NL All-Star squad. Hall of Famers and keys include Frank Robinson, Ed Mathews, Robin Roberts, Ernie Banks, Warren Spahn, Ted Kluszewski (SS), Hank Aaron, Willie Mays and Stan Musial. Autographs are mostly 8/10 on a minimally toned, blemish-free ball. Signatures of Alston, Labine, Long, Snider, Walker, Gilliam and Campanella have been deemed clubhouse by PSA/DNA.
