With the wind blowing in at Wrigley Field, this All-Star Game favored the pitchers and featured little offense. Still, Johnny Mize took Frank Shea deep in the fourth inning to put the National League in front. But the American League came back to tie it in the sixth and used a pair of singles, a stolen base and an errant pickoff attempt to score the winning run in the seventh.
