Despite ending the regular season losing 15 of their final 18 games, the 2000 Yankees squad promptly put things into high gear in the playoffs, dumping Oakland in five games in the ALDS, stopping Seattle in the ALCS in six games and then swatting their crosstown rivals the New York Mets in a much-ballyhooed resurrection of the “Subway Series.” The World Series win, the team’s 26th at that point in their incredible history, was the Yankees fourth world title in a five-year span.

World Series rings from any year in that incredible span of championships are rare and highly coveted by collectors, however rings from the 2000 championship have proven to be the hardest to find.  This stunning 14k gold “A” version ring features a diamond encrusted "NY" logo atop a blue stone, with raised text at the perimeter asserting "2000 World Champions."  One side of the ring shows the Yankee Stadium facade above the Yankee top hat logo, and the word "Pride". The other side is engraved with the recipient’s name "Lucci" above a rendering of the World Series trophy and words "26th" and "Tradition." The band interior is stamped “Balfour 14k” and the ring remains in outstanding condition with light wear. The ring is accompanied by its original wooden presentation box with an etched glass lid reading "New York Yankees", and "2000 World Champions."  Size: 10.5.
