Original, one of a kind, Topps Flexichrome artwork used to produce Boston Red Sox slugger Tony Conigliaro's 1964 Rookie card. Colorful artwork features much more detail than shown on the issued actual card. 4" by 5" Flexichrome image double matted along with a NM-MT example of Conigliaro's Rookie card. The tragic Conigliaro burst onto the major league scene in 1964 to belt 24 home runs in 111 games as a rookie in 1964. He followed that up with 32 and 28 over the next 2 years. In 1967 he was still going strong with 20 more before being felled by a Jack Hamilton fast ball to the head midway through them season. Artwork and card have been professionally framed and matted to a size of 12" by 16". A truly awesome one of a kind display piece featuring the Rookie card of one of a Boston Red Sox legend.
