Outstanding Goldsmith National League ball signed in blue ink by New York Yankees Lou Gehrig, Ben Chapman and Dusty Cooke. Beautiful Lou Gehrig 9/10 signature is as bold and elegant as you'll ever see on a baseball. The very clean, slightly off-white ball shows minimal handling with an overall appearance of having been stored out of harms way for decades. Other two signatures rate similarly 9/10. According to the balls original owner, her father obtained these signatures himself. Interestingly, she recalls that he tried to obtain Ruth's autograph also but the Babe uncharacteristically refused, leading to her father's lifelong resentment of the Bambino.
