LATE 1990'S DAVID CONE AUTOGRAPHED NEW YORK YANKEES GAME USED CAP AND SINGLE SIGNED BASEBALL

This lot features a game used cap worn by popular Yankee David Cone along with a signed and inscribed baseball. The cap is a New Era 59/50 Pro model in size 7-3/8. Cone’s autograph is on the bottom of the bill with the inscription, “96 W.S. Champs.” The hat, with tagging that dates it to the late 90's, exhibits plenty of wear. Dirt has been permanently stained into the gray felt of the bottom of the bill.  The accompanying ball features a David Cone sweet spot signature in 8/10 black marker inscribed, “P.G. 7.18.99”, to denote the third and last Perfect Game in team history. The consignor of the Pinstripe Dynasty Collection attests to acquiring this cap through a Yankees staff member years ago. Both autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
