This lot offers a circa 1990s Kirby Puckett game used and autographed Louisville Slugger P339 model bat showing excellent signs of game use. Ball, cleats, and bat rack marks are present throughout this game used example. Puckett autographed the bat in between the Louisville Slugger logo and the Kirby Puckett autograph stamp in black permanent marker for ideal eye appeal. The bat has been sourced from legendary pitcher Lee Smith as it was gifted to him from Puckett after a game. The bat measures 34.5" in length and weighs in at 35.2 ounces. Puckett had an impressive career with the Minnesota Twins from 1984 through 1995 appearing in 10 All-Star games, winning the batting title in 1989 (.339), and leading the AL in hits for four years (1987,1988,1989,1992). This item comes with a full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services (Cert. #C1903) for the autograph and a Letter of Authenticity from Lee Smith.
