Offered is an important relic from the 1986 World Cup Final. Argentina won their first World Cup this year by defeating West Germany 3-2. Argentina's path to the final was eventful and historic to say the least. Diego Maradona and his heroic "Hand of God" goal vs England earlier in the tournament still steal the headlines from the 1986 event. This offering commemorates the Final in which Argentina would seal the deal for Maradona and his nation!

The offered ticket stub is from the June 29, 1986 Final and has been graded GD 2 (MK) by PSA.  The MK qualifier is present due to a blue ball point inscription, "Argentina - Alemonia" on the verso and doesn't take away from the aesthetics of the front of the ticket or the verso for that matter. Just like the other ticket stubs offered in this auction, we are perplexed by the low grade as this copy presents much nicer than PSA's assessment.  There are currently four copies graded higher on the PSA pop report.
