"It wasn't really the shot I wanted," said Julius Erving of his game-winning shot at the buzzer in Game 1 of the 1976 ABA Finals. Erving hit the shot over Bobby Jones, one of the best defenders in either league. It demoralized the Nuggets, and gave the Nets all the momentum they needed to win the series. Among the many accolades Erving received for the 1976 season was the Vitalis Most Popular Player Award. This 6” wide by 6” tall award features a wood base with titling on an affixed metal plaquard. The top section features a bronze Vitalis medallion encased in clear Lucite. A fine quality ABA award marking one of the most pivotal and prolific seasons in the career of Julius Erving.
Includes a signed LOA from Julius Erving.
