This is a remarkable opportunity to pick up eight fascinating black-and-white photographs of Hall of Famer John Havlicek. 6 of the photos feature him doing battle with the Philadelphia 76ers (5) and Detroit Pistons(1). All 8 are framed, but 7 are without glass or Plexiglas covering. Four are 7-by-9 inches (two vertical, two horizontal) and three are 8-by-10 inches (vertical). One of the 8-by-10's is a posed-action dribbling picture that is nearly as iconic as the image of Jerry West that inspired the NBA's logo; another 8-by-10 is an actual Wire Photo showing Havlicek in the locker-room celebration with Coach Red Auerbach, Massachusetts Governor John Volpe, Satch Sanders, Bill Russell and Sam Jones. Six of those photos have bold blue 10/10 looking Sharpie Havlicek signatures, and the final 8-by-10 boasts a gold 10/10 looking Sharpie autograph. The final piece, a bench shot with Russell, has a silver Sharpie Havlicek autograph right on top of the the Plexiglas, NOT THE PHOTO, and measures 14-by-10 inches. All eight pieces have been preserved in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition, save only for a couple of the tiniest of dings to a couple of the black wood frames, though nothing rises to the level of detracting from the presentation. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
