This is cool stuff: a pair of vintage black suitcases used on official Celtics road trips by the legendary John Havlicek. We know this because both black suitcases have Havlicek's No. 17 imprinted along the edge near the handle in white and the Celtics' 4-inch logo is also imprinted in white on the front, directly above absolutely stunning and enormous silver Sharpie Havlicek autographs (a full foot-long signature on the larger suitcase and 10 inches on the smaller). The larger suitcase - 25-by-19 inches - opens to reveal largely intact and nice-condition interior, albeit oddly salmon colored, which has various accoutrements designed for dress shirts and pants, including hangars and racks. That suitcase has a steel-reinforced edge and even more than its smaller counterpart (20-by-14 inches) shows significant wear and handling, including the expected scuffing but even some loss of fabric and a bit of a duct tape fix applied to one corner. The larger suitcase also boasts a leather identification tag with Havlicek's address; the smaller one - like the larger one, it has a combination lock, but in this case resists modest efforts to open it. It also has an American Airlines identification tag with Havlicek address. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
