This is the jersey and shorts from John Havlicek's sixth All-Star Game selection, a super artifact showing good game use and yet maintained - like so much of his unprecedented personal collection - in almost perfect condition for nearly a half-century. It's also one of the most unique and distinctive of the many All-Star Game uniforms of the period, which typically might make fashion statements that ranged from the ostentatious to the intellectually indefensible. In this instance, it meant the substitution of a silver color in those elements that would have traditionally been white, such as player names and numbers and on piping on the collar, shoulders and shorts. The result is one of the more eye-catching and intriguing of entries in the genre. Havlicek scored a dozen points in the game held at the San Diego Sports Arena as the East narrowly fell by a 108-107 score. The Size 42 Wilson-tagged jersey is blazing red, set off with the aforementioned blue-and-silver highlights. The elegant Havlicek autograph appears in black Sharpie on the silver "1" on the back of the jersey. Both the jersey and the Size 34 Wilson-tagged satin trunks are in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition, with no alterations of any kind visible and minimal fraying on piping or embroidered letters or numbers. A wonderful example of one of the most unique and distinctive All-Star jerseys in league history Comes with an LOA from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
