From another era comes this fascinating Philco Transistor Radio presented to the members of the Big Ten Champions and National Finalists 1960-61 Regular Season 24-0. That's data is imprinted beneath John Havlicek's name on the back of the leather casing that houses this 10-by-8-inch radio that would have been the technological marvel of its day. Havlicek signed an enormous 6-inch bold black Sharpie signature on the leather back alongside his name and the imprinting. Like virtually all of his signatures, this one is highlighted by the elegance and unique trait of underlining the entire signature from the "J" in his first name. The genuine cowhide casing is in virtually the identical condition as issued more than a half-century ago, with virtually no fraying of the delicate stitching and only the slightest separation and light cracking on the 8-inch leather handle on the top; the radio itself is similarly pristine, betrayed only by a small crack in the clear plastic along the radio dial.

Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
