Bridgeport High School trophy given to a young John Havlicek in 1956 - 57 for being the Most Valuable Player on the school basketball team. Trophy has marble base with figure of a basketball player holding a ball and a scroll to the left with the inscription "BPT. H. S. 1956-57 Most Valuable Player". Base measures about 6" by 3" by 5/8" with the player standing about 4". Nice shape.
