1975 NCAA Football 10K Gold National Championship ring presented to USC Trojan offensive coordinator John Robinson. USC took the PAC Ten with a 6-0-1 record then went on to defeat Big Ten Champion Ohio State 18-17 in the Rose Bowl. After trailing 17-10 with 2 minutes left USC quarterback Pat Haden led the Trojans on a touchdown drive then threw for a 2 point conversion in the final minute to give the Trojans the National Title. Raised bust of Tommy Trojan on red stone on top surrounded by "NATIONAL CHAMPIONS". "ROBINSON", "ROSE BOWL 75", and "COACH" on a football helmet on one side. "1974 TROJANS" and banners with the scores "USC 18 OHIO STATE 17", "USC 55 NOTRE DAME 24", "USC 34 UCLA 9", and USC 34 STANFORD 10" on the other. Inside stamped "JOSTENS 10K". Robinson began coaching at USC in 1972 as offensive coordinator under Trojan coach John McKay. From 1976 through 1982 and then 1993 through 1997 he was the head coach at USC. During his 12 year tenure at USC Robinson's teams won 5 PAC 8/PAC Championships and went 7-1 in Bowl Games including winning 4 Rose Bowls. In 1978 his Trojans took the National Football Championship. His record at USC was 104-35-4, good for a .741 winning percentage. In 2009 he was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. Ring size 10 1/4> Weight 24 grams.
