The 2006 AFC Championship was a memorable one for the Indianapolis Colts after their unthinkable comeback to defeat the Patriots and earn the right to play in Super Bowl XLI. Down 21-3 late in the second quarter, the Colts stormed back with 32 points after halftime to defeat the team that had bested them in two previous playoff matchups. QB Peyton Manning threw for 349 yards and a touchdown, even adding a rushing TD to get the scoring started in the third quarter. Joseph Addai ran it in from three yards out with one minute left in the game, giving Indy its first lead of the game, 38-34. Marlin Jackson then sealed it by intercepting a Tom Brady pass with 17 seconds on the clock. This end zone pylon was used during that historic comeback.
