Offered here is an important snapshot from Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1963 "I Have A Dream" speech at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. The original photograph deemed Type I by PSA captures an image of MLK waiving to a crowd of more than 200,000 people. The August 28, 1963 "March on Washington" remains one of the cornerstones of the Civil Rights Era. During the seventeen minutes of passionate speech, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. called for economic equality, civil rights, and an end to racism. The original photograph measures 7"x5" and rests encapsulated in a PSA jumbo holder. The photograph remains in near mint condition with no major blemishes and no major creasing throughout. An iconic and extremely important moment in American history.
