Joe Namath is one of football's legendary quarterbacks and Hall of Famer who famously "guaranteed" a victory in Super Bowl III. The AFL New York Jets 16-7 win over the NFL Baltimore Colts in The Orange Bowl in Miami is regarded as one of the greatest upsets in football history.
From Beaver Falls, PA and then the University of Alabama, Namath was nicknamed "Broadway Joe" after landing as a pro with the upstart AFL New York squad. His talent and charisma have led him to be one of the most popular celebrities of our time.
Presented here is the colorful Namath 1965 Topps rookie card, a "must have" in any serious football card collection, in a PSA VG-3. This encapsulated "tall boy" cardboard treasure is fitting for someone of Namath's stature as sports "royalty" and will make some collector quite happy.
