Historically important 1923 figural trophy presented to Mexican President Alvaro Obregon by American League President ban Johnson features a 2 1/2" tall batter and catcher atop an ornate 2 1/2" by 4" table. Trophy sits atop a 3 1/3" by 5" by 1" piece of marble. Front metal plate with 3 American and 3 Mexican flags on sides features a very long proclamation about the "Strong Bonds of Fellowship and Hospitality " that exist between the two countries. Same design plate on back, which has come loose and will need to be reattached reads "WITH THE COMPLIMENTS OF BAN JOHNSON 1923". A very eye catching trophy with added historical importance!
