ONL (Feeney) baseball used from the contest in which Hall of Fame closer Goose Gossage, as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates, recorded the first base hit of his career against the St. Louis Cardinals. He also recorded his first save of the season pitching three scoreless innings. On the ball Gossage wrote "1st Hit in Big leagues, 4/16/77, 2B-Hit off Al Hrabosky". Goose later signed the ball in black with the inscription "HOF 2008". Ball displays excellent game use.
