1987 San Diego Padres cap, warm-up jacket, and turf shoes game worn by Hall of Fame closer Goose Gossage. 1987 would be the last in a Padre uniform for the Goose, and he performed well with a 5-4 record, 11 Saves, and a 3.12 ERA in 40 games.
1) Sports Specialties Pro model size 7 3/4 cap has "54" in black marker on the inside front. Cap shows moderate to heavy use with sweat stains on the bill. Gossage has signed and inscribed the bill in silver.
2) Starter size XL brown Padre jacket has a small "SD" in orange sewn on left front chest and an orange "54" sewn on right sleeve. Jacket shows moderate/heavy wear, mainly visible to the inside lining. Gossage has signed and inscribed the front in silver.
3) Mizuno size 11 turf shoes both have "54" in light black marker on the back of heels. Both exhibit heavy use. Gossage has signed the both shoes in silver.
