1984 San Diego Padre National League Champion 14K Gold ring given to Padre Hall of Fame closer Goose Gossage. Goose had a good year in his first year as a Padre, going 10-6 with a 2.90 ERA and 25 Saves in helping the Padres capture their 1st National League crown. In the NLCS against the Cubs he appeared in 3 games, saving the deciding game 5 with 2 scoreless innings of relief. He went on to appear in 2 San Diego losing efforts in the World Series. Beautiful "SD" in diamonds atop a yellow stone surrounded by "Padres National League Champions". "Gossage", "54", and the National League logo on one side with "1984", "Dreams Can Come True", "RAK", and the Padre logo atop a relief of Jack Murphy Stadium on the other. Inside stamped "Balfour 14K". Comes with the original Balfour box. Size 10 3/4.
