Here are 14 super condition - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt - personal checks from legendary Hall of Famer George Sisler, each with blazing Sisler autographs, most dated in the 1960's and 1970's and drawn on the Pittsburgh National Bank. All of the checks have the expected offical banking stamping; quite a few include endorsing signatures on the back from his wife, Kathleen and his sons, George Sisler Jr. and Dick Sisler, who played in the major leagues for seven seasons and struck the 3-run homer in 1950 that propelled the Philadelphia Whiz Kids into the World Seires and dashed the pennant hopes of the Brooklyn Dodgers at a time when George Sr. was a scout for the ball club. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Sisler Family.
