This handsome silver Wittnauer Electro-Chron wristwatch was presented to George Sisler in 1963 and remains in remarkable shape a full half-century later. On the back of the face is an engraving that reads: "George Sisler, Jan. 20, 1963, Sports Lodge, NYC." The face of the watch seems remarkably devoid of any issues, barely revealing even modest surface wear from expected normal usage except for some slight tarnishing near the stem, and would appear to be in working order. The expandable Kreisler silver wristband is likewise in excellent condition; a 3/4-inch-square silver calendar attachment at the center of the wristband is from March of 1973, the year and month that Sisler died. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Sisler Family.
