This 10-karat gold tie clasp was presented to George Sisler Jr., at the 1955 American Association All-Star Game. Sisler Jr. was a longtime minor-league manager and executive, including 11 years as the general manager of the Rochester Red Wings and a stint as president of the International League from 1965-76. The 2 1/2-inch clasp features a baseball bat with an approximately 3/4-inch in diameter official seal of the American Association All-Star Game, wording that encircles the seal in a blue band. A cubic zirconia gem sits atop the baseball at the center of the seal. All elements of the clasp seem to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition. The clasp is presented in a 3-by-3 1/2-inch blue velvet jewelry box that is in the same pristine conditon. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Sisler Family.
