Beautiful 14K Gold 1981 World Championship ring given to long time Los Angeles Dodger executive Fred Claire who served in a number of positions for the team from 1969 to 1998, including general manager from 1987 to 1998. In 1981, the Dodgers once again defeated their historic rivals, the New York Yankees, 4 games to 2. Large real .75 carat diamond at center of a baseball infield sits atop a Dodger blue stone surrounded by "LOS ANGELES DODGERS WORLD CHAMPIONS". "CLAIRE", "LA", and the Dodger logo on one side with "1981" and a raised image of the World Series trophy on the other. Inside stamped "BALFOUR 14K". Ring size 11. Weight 30 grams. Awesome ring, identical to the one given to the players, appears to have been never worn and comes with the original Balfour presentation box.

LOA from Fred Claire.
