When it comes to non-sports celebrity Americana singles, Frank Sinatra is near the top of the list. This offered single signed baseball from "Ol' Blue Eyes" on a mostly clean ONL (William White) ball is right there among the finest ever signed by the legendary singer. His blue ballpoint autograph blazes the sweet spot in 8/10 strength, but contrasted with the soft white tone of the ball it pops even better. The ball has some light spot toning that actually looks much worse in photos. In person, this ball is a show-stopper, pun intended. This same exact ball sold for nearly $3,000 back in 2014. In 2016, a comparable example sold for $4,500. So there are essentially two legitimate Frank singles that have come up for auction and this is one of them.

Not only did Sinatra record 59 studio albums and sell over 150 million records, he also appeared in 23 films -- many alongside fellow "Rat Pack" members --  and won an Oscar for his role in From Here to Eternity. The Sultan of Swoon lived a charmed life and passed away in 1998. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
