Offered here is a February 3, 2008, Super Bowl XLII (N.Y. Giants, New England Patriots) game-used football marked “PATRIOTS” possibly thrown by Tom Brady. The football remains in excellent shape and features a gold Super Bowl XLII logo on its main panel along with “THE DUKE”, the Wilson brand logo, and Roger Goodell’s engraved autograph. The opposite side of the ball reads “NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE” in gold lettering along with both team names. The Giants would go on to win this game, 17-14, with the help of the famous “helmet catch” by David Tyree. This lot is accompanied by a COA from PSA/DNA (#24 out of 53 Game Footballs).
