Maravich played in the 1987 Schick NBA Legends Classic (pg. 64) during All-Star weekend in Seattle. Maravich has signed on a cut page "Pistol Pete John 14:6" and a few other then-retired legends (Slick Watts) have signed the program, mostly on cover. A few '87 All-Star participants (Kareem, Mark Aguirre, Rolando Blackman) have also signed the cover.
