The ever reliable James Worthy starred for the "Showtime Los Angeles Lakers, finishing off countless Magic Johnson no-look passes as the Lakers took home three of their five NBA titles in the 1980s. For his postseason career, "Big Game” James averaged 21.1 points and 5.2 boards per game. Offered here is an early 1980s Los Angeles Lakers game worn road warm-up jacket donned by the Hall of Fame forward who was voted in 1996 to the NBA's 50 Greatest Players list.

The purple jacket, which shows light to moderate wear, is trimmed in gold and white around the short sleeves and shoulders, and boasts the Lakers iconic logo on the left chest area with the official NBA logo patch appearing on the right front tail. All five of the jacket’s original black snaps remain intact. The proper “Tiernan” manufacturer’s label appears on the interior rear neck area, albeit severely faded from laundering. His last name – “WORTHY” – appears arched across the back of the shoulders in yellow on white tackle twill lettering. With three NBA rings to his credit playing for the purple and gold, “Big Game” James will always be a fan favorite in Tinseltown.
