Offered here is a one of a kind Don Larsen handwritten and signed World Series Perfect Game “Story” on a 16”x20” Photo. Larsen did a very limited number of these Perfect Game “Story” inscribed photos and each photo is uniquely handwritten, meaning each photo is considered its own 1/1 edition. On October 8th, 1956, Don Larsen etched his name in baseball history forever by throwing the first Perfect Game in the MLB postseason, a feat that has still yet to reoccur even 64 years later. The photo shows Larsen and Berra embracing each other after the Perfect Game was completed by some of the best battery mates the league has ever seen. On this 1/1 Perfect Game “Story” Larsen inscribed, “When it was over. I was so happy. I felt like crying. I wanted to win This one for Casey. After what I did in Brooklyn. He could have forgotten about me and who would blame him? But he gave me another chance and I’m grateful. WSPG. 10.8.56.” along with his signature at the bottom. Penned in bold, silver permanent marker on a black background for easy legibility.
