As one of the National League’s most dominant pitchers for nearly 14 seasons, Dodgers’ great Don Drysdale was selected to his share of Major League Baseball All-Star teams. This lot features a pair of engraved participatory awards that Drysdale earned from the 1967 and ’68 campaigns. The first is a silver-plated serving tray that measures 13” in diameter (“1967 All-Star Game Anaheim, Calif.”), while the second is a pewter serving tray that measures 11.5” in diameter ("1968 All Star Baseball Game"). Both awards also sport the emblems of the games’ sponsor, Chrysler Corporation.
